Job description:
You will work in a highly motivated team working together with our customers in the CEE&Nordic region providing them with communication network solutions and services adapted to their current and future needs. In your role you will be responsible for the design, implementation and support of these solutions. You will also play an important part in the sales- and bidding process where you provide technical sales support. In this position you will interface with our customers, project managers, global support center, R&D and sales teams.
Responsibilities:
• Be responsible for Optical Network products (SDH, WDM, Microwave) technical engineering implementation in CEE & Nordic markets, including engineering supervision, commissioning, system integration, maintenance and technical support, etc.
• Track and solve all technical issues customer caring about promptly, provide customer necessary technical support and suggestion, keep good cooperation with customer
• Cooperate with Project Manager to deal with engineering management and Subcontractor engineer management
• Provide complex technical activities such as SW upgrades, technical audits and network expansion.
• Provide technical solution and hands-on support on optical network network system
• Support Pre-sales team on technical issues
Requirements:
• Good knowledge of optical field, 3-5 years experience is required
• Good understanding of MPLS, ATM, SDH,.
• Good trouble shooting skills and knowledge of trouble shooting tools (Ethereal, Network, etc.)
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced changing environment
• University degree in communication Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent degree.
• Fluent in English, fluency in Norwegian/Swedish is preferred.
Others:
• Able to travel and work in a multicultural environment.
• Well developed written and oral communication skills, including the ability to liaise with people at all levels of the organization.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
