REQUIREMENTS:BSc (MSc) in Telecommunications / Electronics Engineering,
Min 5 years experience in RF Planning & Optimization for GSM,
Minimum 1 years 3G Planning/Optimization experience required,
Knowledge and practice of 2G/3G planning and optimization processes,
Knowledge and practice of 2G/3G RF Planning tool (NetAct Planner or equivalent),
Deep Knowledge and practice of drive test measurement/analysis tool (TEMS, NEMO, or equivalent),
Knowledge and practice of Nokia RAN parameters and counters is an big advantage,
Fluency in English,
Personal flexibility regarding travel,
Knowledge and practice of OSS, RAN tools,
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Experience in dimensioning the BSS network according to the coverage, capacity and quality requirements,
Experience in Setting the specific RF parameters for the site to be integrated,
Deep understanding in network KPI formulas together with counters and develop alternartive performancee evaluation methods,
Deep and huge experience in Analyzing network performance through drive test measurements and OSS measurements,
Detecting eventual problems and recommending changes to fixing those problems through parameter optimisations and other optimisation methods,
Defining and monitoring parameter consistency check rules,
Defining and monitoring KPIs reports on network, area and BSC/RNC level,
Defining and monitoring “worst objects” reports at BTS, adjacency and TRX level, as well as Node-B level, as well as troubleshoot them by recommending software changes, hardware changes or alerting O&M in case of hardware problems,
Trialing and Implementing new feature to improve overall radio network performance,
Be able to coordinate and validate the technical work of RF engineers.
