Vacancy: SS7 / Sigtran Engineers – Bellevue, WA (USA)

Fusion Solutions Inc. is a leading Technical Staffing and Consulting Service Company and looking for SS7 Engineers with the following requirements. 
Location: Seattle, WA 
Start: Feb 2011 
Duration: 1 year + 
Type: Contract / CTH 
Number of Positions: 1 
Scope of Work: 
Educational Background Required: Masters or Bachelor’s degree from a college or university 
• Provide Transport Network Engineering and SS7 routing, GTT, PCSSN, and Utilization on Cisco ITP (STP) platform and Tekelec STP. 
• Design, maintain, and if needed implement Geo-Diverse fallback plans for Business Continuity. 
• Must have full understanding of SS7 theory, troubleshooting, and statistics. 
• CAMEL/SigTran is required. 
• Tekelec SS7 hardware and translations (routes, links, GTT, gateway screening) 
• Protocols - ISUP, TCAP, IS-41, CAMEL, CS1+, GSM/GPRS MAP, SigTran 
• Monitoring experience - K15, GeoProbe, Tekelec IAS 
• Must have competence in establishment of transport design in Tellabs DACS. 
• This Engineering assignment requires extremely high level of communication skills and represent Ericsson in a professional manner. 
• BSc. in Electrical, Computer engineering or computer science highly desirable or applicable industry experience. 
• Minimum 5 yrs experience working on STP's and/or Digital Cross Connect Systems. 
• Minimal travel to remote facility in North Carolina and additionally for training or visiting customers. 
• Fast-paced, multi-task environment. 
• This person must be willing to be on call and work hours required to support the business environment. 
• Geo-Probe, Tellabs DACS, Tektronix K1205 & K15, Cisco ITP, Tekelec STP. 
• Excel, VISIO 
• Scripts (ProComm Plus or Verbose) 
• Overall Network Design understanding for Wireless IN application/call flows
