They require a Field Maintenance Manager who has experience of managed services within a fixed line telecoms environment (mandatory), managing the sub-contractors. This is a great opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies with a great company.

Familiar with the process for telecom network maintenance and operations, understand KPI and SLA management
Familiar with international management development trends and the industry's most advanced management concepts and programs such as eTom, ITIL and NMS/OSS, for example

Role details
Reporting to the MS Operations Manager Head the FM Manager will take responsibility for managing the FM function. The FM will be outsourced and the managers role is to take full responsibility for the relationship with the appointed subcontractor which will involve ensuring that the KPI's and conditions of the contract are met in every regard. The FM manager will ensure the processes are followed and the resource pool is in place to manage the SLA's to meet the contractual commitment. The FM team will be responsible for responding to faults, all outside plant repairs, preventive and reactive maintenance and spare parts management.
The preferred candidate will have overseas expat experience and previously worked as a manager for a fixed network vendor or operator and have a previous background in the areas of Field or First Line Maintenance in a DataComm, Core Network, Switching or Transmission O&M environment with an expert understanding of Fiber Optic networks, NGN, MPLS, VPN, IPTV, xDSL and FTTH. Expertise in team management and network operator's O&M functions including the corresponding operation modules. Have a clear demonstrable knowledge of the operators core business and experienced in telecom industry standards and best practice. Experienced in managing multiple subcontractors while being creative with the ability to measure and manage a project, analyze and forecast delivery identifying potential risks and provide solutions.
