Currently we have an opening for “Core Network Engineer” with one of our client in Norway.
Below is the job description-Responsibilities:
- Circuit Switch (CS) Core Network design. High and Low Level Design (HLD/LLD).
- CS or Fixed swtich rollout activities and Acceptance testing of networks and/or their elements.
- Provide the contracted customer support services according to established processes like, Emergency support, network trouble-shooting , Software upgrading, Network maintenance.
- Technical sales support activities.
Mandatory qualifications:
- University degree in communication Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent knowlege.
- Fluent in Norwagian and English.
-Telephony core network knowleage.
Desireable qualifications:
- Background of IMS product or CS product
- Advanced knowledge in routing protocols like OSPF, SCTP Multi-homing and BGP.
- Experience from 2G/3G mobile networks, and elements like MSS, MGW, HLR.
- Understanding of SS7, SIGTRAN, ATM, SDH, and .
- Able to travel and work in a multicultural environment.
