Vacancy: Senior Network Design Engineer / Architect (CCIE / CCNP) || Fort Worth, TX (USA)

(client: Fortune 10) Must be local to DFW Market. Face-to-Face Interview Required.

Duration: Contract to Hire. Start the conversion process at around the 90th day. 
Location: Fort Worth, TX 
Salary: $100,000 / year plus benefits (Fortune 10 client) 
Travel: < 25% travel to Topeka, KS; WA, OR 
Scope of Work: 
• 10-15 years experience 
• Telecommunications background 
• Cisco Switches – any experience with Avaya is a big pls 
Sr. Routing - MUST HAVE the Following: MPLS, OSPF, Point-To-Point, DS3. 
Desired Skills: 
• ATM, Microwave 
• Sr. Switching 
• Ability to manage multiple sub-components of large capital projects 
Desired: Wireless Knowledge: Nortel 
Duties: 
• Take current as-built drawing from an assigned documentation engineer and work with the project requestor to design the network infrastructural change, steps for implementation completion and post change testing. 
• Will work with the field and implementation teams to ensure accuracy on plans and to discuss the plan thoroughly before handing it over in it’s completed form to our implementation team. 
• Will manage multiple ongoing projects with competing deadlines. 
• Will interface with other engineering teams including voice, wireless, microwave and radio where required by project requirements to create collaborative implementation plans.
