The successful candidate will be a key senior member of a division to develop state of the art BTS products for wireless communication application with tower mounted active components. This position will be responsible for establishing and maintaining departmental procedures and documentation. You will be directing, supervising & managing the performance of BTS, System Test & Integration and Network Planning group. You will also be responsible for meeting regulatory body requirements (CE, UL, FCC).
To be considered, one must have a Ph.D with 10+years or a MS with 15+ years of technical and management experience in digital wireless communication system development. You must be an expert in high power BTS and passive component design (antenna, LNA, capacity, network planning, etc). Antenna design experience specifically is mandatory. Strong knowledge of GSM, CDMA, LTE, WiMAX, W-CDMA and EDGE system specifications as related to BTS design.
My client would like to relocate this person to Raleigh, North Carolina (they will provide relocation assistance). They are looking to pay a base salary of $130,000-150,000 (+ performance based bonus).
