Recruiting Construction Field Managers for a 3-6 month Project, work is in the GCC countries (Saudi Arabia, Jordan & Bahrain)
Ideally candidates will be GCC nationals, as we need people who are free to move around from country to country.
Job Description
Construction Field Managers
• Job requires travelling around to client cell sites in order to manage data Technicians are gathering from base stations.
• Auditing the data that technicians gather before submitting to client.
• Manage schedule of audits and do close out packages on list of sites client gives us.
• Coordinate access for techs and climbers to get into sites.
• Must have tower foreman experience.
• Ideally will be anritsu certified and have P&L experience
Overview:
• The Construction Manager reports to the Construction Project Manager or Project Manager.
• These professionals manage subcontractors or other 3rd party vendors throughout the build or install process of telecommunications equipment.
• The construction manager is responsible for keeping the Project Management team and client updated with the status of the site build or equipment install.
Responsibilities:
• Utility coordination - Coordinate with local utility companies in facilitating commercial power and telephone services to sites.
• Site Civil Design Management – Drive and manage 3rd party civil design firms (A&E firms) through site design and review process. Manage and coordinate ordering of site drawings. Coordinate with other project disciplines for the timely and effective design of sites.
• Site Construction Management – Ensure that client key performance indicators are achieved or exceeded, this includes but is not limited to:
- Schedule
- Cost
- Quality- Understand and administer typical client build specifications. Ensure quality site walks are performed and punch list items completed.
- Safety
- Workmanship
• Client Relations - Maintain good client working relations. Communicate project status and construction issues timely and professionally.
• Safety Management – Implement client safety plans. Report safety issues in a professional and timely manner for resolution.
• Administrative Duties -Maintain project files, Tracking reports, and/ or site status reports. Assist the CPM or Project Manager in communicating site status. Maintain and assemble necessary site documentation for site closeout package.
Qualifications:
• Travel with vehicle required
• Weekend work occurs but is not an every weekend occurrence
• Comfortable in the field, self-directed environment
• Proficient with documents such as zoning and Construction drawings, bids, and leases
• Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Project, Outlook
• Understanding of e-mail and the Internet
• Flexible to be on-call in support of client needs
• Education & Experience: College degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience in telecommunications construction. A state or multiple states Contractor’s License is a plus.
