Looking for a Telecom PMO Head for APAC region to be based in Malaysia.
The candidate will be reporting to the APAC VP-Services on a day to day basis.
Key Accountabilities:
- Minimum 8 years of Project/Program management experience in telecom or IT industry.
- Understand the project environment and be able to fulfil a number of project management processes and procedures in line with the PMO guidelines and methodologies
- Strong Telecom Project Management experience with clear understanding of PMI methodologies.
- Demonstrate excellent planning & personal organisation skills
- Understand the commercial environment specifically in relation to new opportunity identification and ongoing revenue recognition
- Understanding of APAC Telecom industry.
- Understanding of VAS, OSS/BSS, Data Charging, IP/MPLS, 2G, 3G etc. technologies will be an added advantage.
- Administer the commercial management and variations process in line with the PMO standards – engagement in bid stage of new proposals
- Conduct necessary trainings in the region for the Project Managers on PMI Methodologies.
- Candidates currently in Malaysia or Malaysian nationals will be given first priority.
