Telecom Job: Head – End to End Solution Engineering || India

Client: One of the largest operator in Wireless and Wireline Business
Lead E2E Solutions design and engineering cutting across wireline and wireless access technologies for B2B and B2C customer for a leading Service provider. Person responsible will leverage synergies across all network domains to put together a working & cost effective solutions with solid fundamentals of reach, reliability and quality.
Location of position : New Delhi, India 
To put together an end to end solution across various fixed access and wireless access technologies based on B2B & B2C customer requirement from CFU.
• Solution design and engineering of complex bids and proposal which requires customized & working solutions
• To put together highly cost effective and future proof solution for market competitiveness and help in winning the deals
• Creation of product catalogue with cost, quality and feasibility perspective
• End to end process definition for operationalization and maintenance of solution
• POC of solution and testing in the network
• Provide directions for Energy consumption reduction through engineering of active and passive solutions available commercially, in line with business requirements for different access technologies.
• Provide directions for optimal network architecture to minimize network capex & opex
• Supporting growth and improved service through new solution designing for new & existing access technology deployments.
• Participate with Businesses & design Solution as per business requirements.
• Analyse inputs and forecasts from marketing, sales and networks teams of respective businesses.
• Engage with Business Heads, Network Heads of Businesses to identify areas for facilitating support through the different access Technologies


Managing & Engaging the Engineering Team of Strategic Partners & Evaluate LTE/WiFi/iWAN/Wire line Fixed broadband access technologies, vendors product to support decision making on service contracts with key vendors


• Periodical review of the E2E solution designing & deployment , analyse inputs from team and recommend solution for different access technologies LTE/iWAN/WiFi/Wireline fixed broadband access technologies
• Put forth and execute on a comprehensive End to End Solution Design based on evolving and changing product specifications
• Head the solution eengineering of LTE/WiFi/iWAN/Wireline fixed broadband access technologies network basis on the Budget – Capex & Opex vis-à-vis the business plans, flags off to the Head on critical triggers / deviations.
• Managing & Engaging the Solution Engineering Team of Strategic Partners and Evaluating technologies, vendors to support decision making on service Contracts with key vendors
• Evaluation & Sourcing of alternate vendors for infrastructure items to optimise Capex & Opex and meet business objectives
• Keep updated with the latest in the field of broadband Technologies and their role in supporting the telecom industry. Active participation in imparting training/sharing of good practices and latest technology updates
• Coach and develop circle resources for complete engineering solution understanding every year.
• Share information/knowledge of the role of broadband acess technologies in supporting future growth. - Make the business units aware of new products and technologies.


Education & Experience: Engineering in Electronics & Telecommunications with 15 + yrs of experience
