Job Description:
• Position is responsible for Iridium operational billing team.
• This person will be responsible for ensuring that the operational team and its internal processes are structured in a fashion that will result in timely and accurate bill production.
• The manager will be responsible for structuring and staffing the team in a manner which will best utilize system resources and result proficient billing.
• This may involve shift work, out of hours support, emergency resolution, and problem management.
• The person will be expected to monitor the efficiency of the billing process and instigate manual and systematic process improvements.
• Strong management and leadership are required as the team will most likely grow.
• The manager must also interact with numerous groups, including customers, on a regular basis.
• Additionally, the manager must report overall billing activities to the business and escalate unresolved billing issues to management.
• The manager and team will provide support to internal departments that may be evaluating reported issues with the billing application.
• You will be responsible for assisting in environment setup and configuration and general support for the QA dept.
• Additionally, you will be evaluating existing processes and recommending any alternate or modified process(s) that improve the overall performance.
• Planning and development of other performance monitoring tools may be necessary as well to establish measurable monitoring metrics.
Summary of Responsibilities:
• Supervising process and functional design activities
• Creating functional requirements as an input to application design
• Developing and testing detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes
• Supervising application build, test, and deploy activities
• Planning and executing data conversion activities (e.g., test data)
Core Competencies:
• 4 years experience in Oracle BRM
• 4 years experience managing billing system applications
• 4 years experience in IT operations management
• Excellent level of knowledge of BRM database structure
• Experience in C++, PHP, TCL a plus



Required Skills: Must demonstrate a minimum of 3 years experience in BRM management. 
Education Level: Four-year degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Technology related fields or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
