Telecom Job for Solution Integration (Verification and Implementation) Engineer – Reston, VA (USA)

(experience with QChat preferred).

Scope of Work: 
QChat - Solution Integrator (Verification/Implementation) 
Skills, Experience, and Education: 
• BS or MS in EE, CS, or CE, or acceptable equivalent of post secondary education and experience. 
• Master’s highly preferred. 
• Good understanding of Sprint's Qchat and iDEN solutions, architecture and use-cases 
• Hands-on experience with Qchat platforms (RG, RLS, RD, OMC-QC, QAS etc) which includes software deployment, configuration, integration and troubleshooting. 
• Integration experience with Sprint's OSS/BSS systems (Netcool, PIERS, SPS, NETi) 
• Excellent knowledge of IP networks 
• Excellent knowledge of CMDA networks (RAN and PDN) 
• Previous experience with the Qchat test system in Sprint's NRT lab in Sterling, VA 
• Experience with handset testing and device certification 
• Experience with CDMA network performance and monitoring 
• Excellent documentation skills. Expected to write test instructions, operational guides, methods of procedures and create and maintain site specific engineering documentation. 
• Capable of working in a team 
• Assist solution architects in customer requirement gathering and analysis. 
• Analyze customer business processes and requirements. 
• Map test cases to detailed requirements. 
• Contribute at customer site as solutions expert. 
• Secure the functionality and technical quality of deliveries in customer projects. 
• Strong problem solving skills and analytical ability. 
• Ability to work under stressful situations, meet tight deadlines and deliver services with high quality.
