About the position
The Swedish R&D center is currently looking for a Senior Antenna Engineer. The position is responsible for the research into the antenna part of advanced antenna systems, both in knowledge of the synthesis of radiation patterns and the practical aspects of implementing the antenna. The position is within the system design team for telecommunication base stations who are researching radio architectures and the elements within them. You will be expected to act as the technical expert in matters relating to the antenna.
Qualifications and experience
To be successful in this role the candidate should have at least 8 years experiences in antenna synthesis and design, preferably with antennas for telecommunications systems and working in an R&D environment.
A Master degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent background is required.
Skills requirements
The candidate should have a high focus on delivering high quality work and have an interest for development and to share experiences with others in the team as well as have a proven capability to pursue creative solutions. Prior experience from international and multicultural work is preferred. As we are a global company the candidate must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
Good communication, documentation and presentation skills.
Location
This is a fulltime consultancy position at our R&D center in Gothenburg, Sweden.
