Job vacancy for Integration Design Manager ICT || Europe

Currently we have an opening for Integration Design Manager ICT with our client in Germany, UK and Italy. It is a 3 months extendable contract position.

Role Purpose
• develop and design solutions for the services integration of all services in the area of Application Management
• define and manage Standards and Guidelines for the Application Management in order to achieve operational excellence, reduce costs and increase quality
• enable the Service Environment to be as expandable, flexible and reliable for existing and upcoming Services and Applications
• provide technical consultancy, support and guidance for all stakeholders


Job description
• responsible for E2E Design within the Application Management Environment
- manage the design of the different environments in order to ensure flexibility, reliability and high availability
- provide E2E integration solutions including E2E connectivity and Interfaces
• provide Integration Design advices to internal stakeholders: single point of contact (SPOC)
• review and sign off design and implementation documents for the Application Management
• optimize resources, Increase Quality and Reduce Costs
- support & Drive E2E performance & service quality improvements during the entire Product Life Cycle (PLC)
• evaluate and research for new technologies, develop and drive design solutions and innovation in order to improve KPIs, service quality and optimize environment utilization
• compile concepts, standards, guidelines and operational requirements
• manage the standardization of technologies for Application Management
- develop and define standards, concepts and guidelines for Application Management
- drive the implementation of the Standards, Concepts and Guidelines and act as SPOC for the entire Application Management Team
- lead the design work streams with participants from all relevant stakeholders and work out the technical details (agree and align the topics on technical level).


Required skills
• strong IT/ Application Management background
• > 5 years of experience in IT service provisioning within the ICT industry
• broad experience and knowledge of mobile internet communication, protocols, infrastructure, applications, services and integrations
• deep knowledge in state of the art IT solutions for Mobile & Web applications and services: 
- J2EE application servers (Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat)
- Apache Web Server
- Virtualization
- Windows Server OS, UNIX (Solaris), Linux OS including Perl & Shell scripting
- JAVA, SQL, Ethernet, TCP/IP, XML, HTML, XHTML, Ant, Struts, Email Solution, Streaming.
• enterprise network know how as IP routing, DNS, load balancing and security features, MPLS and IPSec technologies
• deep understanding of operational procedures and process standards, ITIL certification is nice to have
• project experience in multicultural teams
• strong communication and interpersonal skills
• good planning and decision making skills
• fluent English language skills (project language!)
