Telecom job for Fixed Core Network (PSTN / Wireline) Consultant || Middle East

Seeking for an EU based SI working with Middle East based Fixed Line Operator a Network Wireline Expert/Fixed Core Network (PSTN) Consultant. 8+ years experience mandatory.


Must be able to start no later than mid-May 2011


Expertise in optimising core networks (AXE Ericsson). 
Knowledge of NGN/IMS architectures. 
Expert in SS7 & signalling design projects. 
Knowledge of IN/VAS architectures. 


Network Wireline Expert/Fixed Core Network (PSTN) Consultant must have excellent communication skills in English (oral and written).


Initial contract 6 months, project total duration 1 year. 


Required skills 
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in fixed telecom networks (Switching) 
- Ability to propose and to defend solutions and transfer the knowhow to the counterparts 
- nowledge of the architectures, technologies and roadmaps as well as the operational aspects for example NSN EWSD, Ericsson AXE 
- Expertise in optimizing core networks of large telecom operator companies 
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English. 
- Knowledge of the NGN/IMS architectures in the core and in the access is requested in order to coordinate with the NGN project 
- Service oriented approach is essential to supplement and leverage the technical studies. 
- Expertise in SS7 & signalling design projects and their implementation 
- Expertise in numbering plan design projects 
- Knowledge of IN & VAS architectures appreciated
