Job Description:
• ARP resource that can provide technical service and support to new and existing customer networks, Telecom and Datacom
• Plan, design, troubleshoot and resolve problems in order to stabilize and optimize customer networks
• Configure and integrate different nodes and solutions in new and live customer networks.
• Services Engineer would typically interact with customer technical staff and operation managers, service engineers and other groups within Service Delivery organization.
• They may also interact with groups in sales, R&D, 3rd Party suppliers and local authorities.
• Providing ongoing customer support throughout implementation Service as well as driving new solutions development in order to meet the customer's expectations
• Drive business with the customer by finding new convergence opportunities based on expanding existing solutions as well as creating new ones
• Carry out solution analysis and planning for various customers
Requirements:
• BS or MS in telecommunication or IT
• Previous experience working in software design and integration (OSS RC and other Network Management systems)
• Excellent troubleshooting skills needed (OSS applications/SOEM/SONM/ESA/EntriView/ENIQ)
• Strong knowledge in UNIX, Veritas volume manager, Veritas Netbackup, Veritas cluster Solution (High Availability) and Citrix
• Installed and configured an OSS HA system/OSS stand alone/SOEM/SONM/ESA/EntriView/ENIQ is a plus
• Experience in Business Objects and built reports for customer
• Strong knowledge of 3GPP
• Strong knowledge of IP networking and Internet technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, Radius, Diameter)
• Strong knowledge of network management and provisioning (XML, SNMP, Corba, LDAP, SOAP)
• Good knowledge of wireless technologies and related protocols required Installation and configuration of servers, routers, and switches highly desired
• Good knowledge of windows operating systems
• Security and Authentication experience also highly desired.
• Strong problem solving skills and analytical ability
• Ability to work under stressful situations, meet tight deadlines and deliver services with high quality
• Excellent communication skills in order to be able to participate and drive customer meetings
• Aspiration to develop solutions architecture competency
