Telecom Job for Radio Network Planning and Optimisation Consultant || Switzerland

Currently seeking a number of highly experienced Radio network planning and optimisation consultant to work in Switzerland for a 6 month extendable contract to start ASAP. 


Key responsibilties:
¡¤ Realization of network planning and optimization projects for commercial GSM/WCDMA networks.
¡¤ Take in charge of the RF planning including link budget, simulation, and radio parameters design for GSM/WCDMA networks.
¡¤ Improvement of radio network performance by appropriate approach.
¡¤ Development of NP&NO guidelines and process for projects purposes
¡¤ Network performance statistic data analysis, drive test data analysis, signal tracing data analysis and troubleshooting to improve network performance.
¡¤ RF parameters analysis, changing proposal and implementation operation to improve the radio network performance.
¡¤ Technical communication and clarification (e.g. RF parameter workshop) with customers and subcontractors.
Technical support to pre-sales project on RNP&O issues and communication with customers.


Qualifacations:
¡¤ M.Sc. degree or above in Telecommunication, Electronic or equivalent
¡¤ Familiarity with 3GPP protocol.
¡¤ At least 7 years experience in RF planning and optimization.
¡¤ Expert in WCDMA technology and UTRAN products, including radio system design and system management, radio resource management, radio optimization and performance tuning. Be familiar with the tools network planning and optimization.
¡¤ Knowledge of Nokia BSS/UTRAN, Ericson UTRAN and Huawei BSS products is desirable.
¡¤ Familiarity with the local regulation for protection of the general population from non-ionizing radiation and with ¡°NIS¡± application process.
¡¤ Familiarity with drive tests and post processing tools for optimization (e.g. TEMS, NEMO, ACTIX and Rhode & Schwarz).
¡¤ Excellent team spirit with good communications and interpersonal skills. Ability to cooperate and work with people from different cultures.
¡¤ Work experience or good relation in OCH¡¢Sunrise will be prefer.
¡¤ Willing to travel with short noticed. Willing to work over time.
Fluent in oral and written English and Switzerland official language
