Job Description: The Experienced MSS Services Engineer is responsible for providing Integration, Testing, troubleshooting in MSS (MGW and MSC-R) in Core. This individual interfaces with external and internal customers and handles Customer Service Request, as well as MOPs (Method of Procedures) generation and execution. The engineer may be sought out as a consultant in Core technical area, is capable of operating with a high degree of independence and participate in new product introduction, system integration, SW upgrade and first node implementation in field
Requirements:
• Extensive working knowledge and understanding in GSM/WCDMA(CS Core MSS, MSC-Server/MGw )
• Excellent understanding regarding GSM & UMTS Network Signaling protocols such as ISUP, MAP, BSSMAP/DTAP/RANAP, TCP/IP, BICC, GCP, IPBCP, SIP & IM
• Excellent analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Exhibits high initiative skills
• Capable of developing technical documents and papers
• Capable of performing project coordination activities
• Ability to develop and make presentations to various groups and customers
• Knowledge of Core KPI and Statistic
• Be able to work well under pressure, be on call rotations, and handle system emergencies
• Requires a minimum of Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of related experience and minimum of 3 years of Core trouble shooting experienceConsultant name Andrew McKeirnan
