Responsibilities:

•Analyzing & solving the RF optimization problems, improve site KPI to reach the target value.

•Troubleshooting, solve user complaints issues.

•Maintain the 3G Radio network performance, such as: Accessibility, Retainability, Mobility & Service Integrity

•Improve the main KPI

•Audit/tune Cell SC/neighbor cell planning whenever needed

•Arrange site/cluster level DT, analyze DT log for problem site/area

•Explain KPI changes and optimization strategy & plan to customer to solve main problems and critical issues

•Responsible for making radio network optimization strategy and plan for a long-term radio network optimization activity; new BSS feature implementation and new parameter trials

•Ensure that all cells are behaving within agreed-upon guidelines

•Troubleshoot problematic cells and take necessary actions and follow-ups till they are cleared

•Training on the job to local engineers and knowledge transfer

•Analyzing site performance after integration through drive test measurements and/or OSS measurements, detecting eventual problems and recommending changes to fixing those problems

•Defining main alarms to be monitored regarding the indicators to be improved

•Defining and monitoring parameter consistency check rules in order to Maintain RAN parameter database consistent internally and implemented according to the RAN default parameters and RAN planned specific parameters

•Analyzing and troubleshooting reports by recommending software changes, hardware changes or alerting O&M in case of hardware problem

•Analyzing drive test measurements to detect eventual problems and recommend changes to fix those problems

Requirements:

•Deep knowledge with Huawei 3G equipment, features and parameters

•Master using and knowledge of Huawei UMTS troubleshooting, monitoring and optimization tools such as M2000 and Nastar

•Deep knowledge and practice of 3G planning and optimization processes

•Deep knowledge and practice of drive test measurement/analysis tool (both TEMS and NEMO)

•Deep knowledge and practice of Huawei RAN parameters and counters

•Deep knowledge and practice of OSS, RAN tools: Configuration Management, Performance Management, Fault Management related

•Deep knowledge of HSDPA/HSUPA related parameters, features, troubleshooting, hardware requirements, and optimization
