Job description:
• Responsible for working as a solution designer within the IT billing development team, providing application detail design, development and support to implement the billing business rules using the Single View development environment 
• Single View is the Billing Application used to perform real time rating, billing and invoicing of customers using Telecommunication operator services 
• Previous experience of working with business analysts, end to end solution architects and business team to develop billing detail designs 
• Skills to develop and implement billing solutions using the Single View development environment are required 
• Assessment of application functionality requirements 
• Impact analysis on application architecture 
• Advise and control of application design and development 
• Gap analysis and definition of new system functionality 
• Ensure impact and system changes are recorded and communicated effectively utilising company documentation standards where necessary 
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills 
• Multiple Project environment & full Development Project life-cycle experience 
• Capable of interfacing with Clients and User Community Motivated self-starter, proactive, hard working and able to learn new technical skills quickly A team player able to mentor and train junior staff, worked in multi site model Strong interpersonal / communication skills 
• Take a lead in the analysis of business requirements, end to end high level solution design and translation of requirements into billing centric detail designs and functional specifications 
• Produce, review and validate detail design documentation using Single View Billing application
• Understand and advise on the technical architecture of Single view applications 
• Review test plans, help in conducting testing and document results of testing of a delivered system. In particular help in conducting unit testing of a development piece 
• Perform capacity analysis and produce capacity planning based on service demand forecast 
• Communicate and consult with operational and technical areas of the business 
• Ensure impacts and system changes are recorded and communicated effectively utilising company standards, procedures and policies 
• Contribute to the production of project plans through identification of activities, tasks and milestones required to achieve successful systems implementation 
• Liaise with various external testing and operations groups to manage end to end successful delivery of billing releases 
• Making sure all deliveries are of good quality, delivered within time and efforts 
• Mentor and assist in the design and development of other members of the billing development team 
• Experience in development activities using Single View version 6
