Telecom Vacancy: Radio Planning Engineer :: Europe

Location: Europe 
Start Date: ASAP 
End Date: 3 months (extendable) 



Responsibilities:
• Support network service delivery objectives with regard to roll-out services 
• Guarantee optimal coverage & capacity planning according to our customer’s business objectives 
• RF planning for GSM/UMTS 
• Support the nominal planning, candidate selection and site surveys up to site acceptance 
• Create work orders in workflow management systems. 
• Calculate and determine network impact for coverage and capacity expansions 
• Evaluate drive test data to identify performance areas 
• Recommend RF solutions and carrying out changes to improve site performance 
• Support corporate coverage requests 
• Support Site Share & Courtesy requests 
• Support RF system introduction process. 
• Support governmental regulation requests



Requirements:
• Master/bachelor degree (technical/telecommunications) 
• A minimum of 3 years relevant working experience in the RF planning field 
• Specialized in RF Planning and Optimisation (GSM, UMTS/ HSDPA) 
• Familiar with RF planning/ mobile operator roll-out process 
• Experiences in RF hardware configurations and system updates/upgrades 
• Knowledge of using tools e.g. Atoll, Seegis, Mapinfo, Maximo etc 
• Strong analytical skills to determine radio network impact in changing environments 
• Safety training 
• Speaks preferably Dutch 
• Works independent, but is also a team player 
• Responsible, Service minded, flexible, taking initiatives 
• Result oriented and customer focused 
• Process oriented and quality driven
