Telecom Vacancy for Senior Power Distribution Engineer :: EUROPE

Designing power distributions for a future wireless radio base platform. Analysing a distribution scheme (AC/DC).

Responsibilities:

• to take on the challenge to plan and design the Power distribution design in the wireless future radio base station platforms
• responsibility for the Power distribution scheme analysis including the AC and DC in the base station and power-distribution box
• The work will be done in very close cooperation with my clients system design teams in Europe and global head office, so a prior experience from international and multicultural work is preferred
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• a high focus on delivering high quality work

• a strong feeling and interest for development and to share experiences with others in the team and a proven capability to pursue creative solutions.

Skills required:

• more than 4 years of experience in high level system design of power distribution for radio base stations and/or more than 8 years experience of power distribution solution for radio base stations or other telecom products in total
• A deep understanding of the power supply architecture for Base Station or other telecom products and also an extensive knowledge of low level design of power distribution and components application like fuses, circuit breaker, etc 
• familiar with power and structure application standards, such as ETSI, NEBS, IEC.
• Knowledge of cables design, of safety and of grounding design is also highly appreciated.
• The candidate can of course communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing

• Bachelor Degree, Masters or higher majoring in electrical engineering or equivalent background.
