Telecom Vacancy: MSS Integration Engineer :: Europe

Location: Europe

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 3 months (extendable)

Responsibilities:

•Perform system level test and start up (commissioning) of MSS Products

•Provide and produce customer specific Test, Integration and Migration documentation required to facilitate integration and/or migration activities on Soft switch Products into customer’s networks

•Provide onsite trouble shooting, with view to resolving any issues and to deliver on time & budget

•Liaise and work with Technical Support teams on problems or issues found in the field

Requirements:

•Good understanding and experience of MSC-S (APZ 212-50, APG40 C4)

•Good understanding and experience of MGW R4 SW and HW

•Good understanding of IP, ATM and TDM transmission systems

•Proven track record (at least 4 yrs) in Integration and Integration Testing of MSS nodes

•Good understanding of DT and MGW Configuration scripts

•Experience in a commissioning / technical support environment

•Ability to work calmly under pressure

•Flexibility to adapt to changing requirement of the role (different tasks, different projects)

•Excellent customer facing skills and ability to build good working relationships with others

•Excellent communication skills

•BSc or BEng Degree or similar level qualification
