Responsibilities:
• Handles and manages all escalated problems
• Responsible for responding to high level technical queries both remotely and on-site as well as providing hardware and software upgrade expertise for all Messaging, GPRS and MPBN nodes
• Provide Configuration expertise and implementing data changes in software and correction patches
• Participates in the 24-hour emergency standby for network troubleshooting and network resolution
• Responsible for Operations and Maintenance of SASN R5 and SASN 2009B(8+1 cluster configuration)
• Performs O&M daily health checks of whole SASN system
• Responsible of integration of new OCS/CCN to SASN system
• Responsible for testing of Gy connection to newly commissioned CCNs for Credit Control.
• Performs troubleshooting for issues relevant to SASN nodes including real-time transaction tracing and content-based complaints for subscribers
• Provides 2nd line troubleshooting for any issues and concerns relevant to SASN nodes including real-time transaction tracing and content-based charging complaints for subscribers
• Performs definition and modification on SASN configuration for different data services
• Responsible for definition of URL based on content type classification
• Responsible for performing relevant changes to SASN systems including IP related modification when advised by customer
• Responsible for Operations and Maintenance of Packet Core nodes namely SGSN 2008B, SGSN 2010B, GGSN R4 and GGSN 2009B
• Performs O&M daily health checks and prepares daily utilization reports for Performance Monitoring of GSN nodes
• Perform first level troubleshooting, fault and alarm monitoring, network monitoring and management, trouble isolation and resolution of Packet Core nodes and GPRS related nodes and equipments
• Troubleshooting of SS7, SMPP, UCP and TCP/IP Protocol
• Generation of needed reports and provides statistical data for all handled elements
• Prepares daily, weekly and monthly KPI and Link Utilization reports
