Telecom Vacancies for SYSTEM ENGINEERS :: USA

Location: Atlanta / Dallas

Position summary: Technical delivery management in a telecommunications software company.
Position focuses on ensuring overall technical systems design and integrity of the software delivery.


Required Experience 
• Proven track record - minimum of 5 years of commercially available service assurance software delivery or related OSS systems for telecommunications operators 
• Strong technical background in OSS software and systems experience (in- particular - Software Assurance / Performance Management software architecture) 
• Implementation experience of vendor independent umbrella performance management systems or vendor specific performance management systems 
• Software systems integration testing exposure and software acceptance methodologies 
• Dedicated knowledge of data mediation engines, data loading, and parser definitions / functionality 
• General UNIX administration knowledge, Power tools , shell (Perl) scripting and SQL experience 
• Dedicated knowledge of telecommunication operator related performance management key performance indicators and data analysis and reporting 
• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
 


Position Responsibilities: 
• Responsible for ensuring that software deployment, software configuration / integration, software acceptance services and any other type of professional services including training courses are delivered 
• Responsible for overall solution designs and low level integration designs of the software product including south and northbound integration, software configuration and customization. 
• Responsible for assuming overall technical leadership and responsible for software and services delivery to one or more customer delivery projects 
• Hands-on and flexible attitude 
• Independent worker 
• Able to travel up to 50%
