Qualification and Experience

•Minimum 10 years experience, 2-3 of which should be in a mobile operator in senior network technology role coupled with direct participation in major network RFP and purchase processes and agreements

•University degree in an appropriate area

•Preferably international experience, particularly in the MENA region

Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge

•Reasonably extensive engineering knowledge of mobile networks including hardware and software platforms, preferably in RAN and Core area, 2G, 3G and others

•Reasonable knowledge of key commercial elements and pricing structures of mobile telecom supplier contracts

•Ability to clearly develop and document vendor evaluation criteria and to guide decisions based on those criteria and to guide decisions based on the criteria

•Participation in mobile network RFP, develop model network and purchase agreement processes

•Strong understanding of technology trends, best practices, and management of technology innovation operations
