Our client requires an experienced NG Core and Transport Networks and Services consultant for a PERMANENT job in Asia Pacific. A constant career path is mandatory. Start date is within 6 weeks. 
Job description: Senior expert consultant experience and knowledge in strategy, planning, design and implementation of IP transport networks and services for telecommunication operators and large scale 
enterprises 
- Senior expert experience and knowledge in at least 3-4 of the 
following categories: 
- In-depth understanding of relevant concepts, protocols 
and standards (e.g. MPLS, VPLS, Metro Ethernet, 
relevant routing protocols, addressing, network security, 
resilience and availability …) 
- In-depth understanding of Internet architectures, network 
interconnection 
- In-depth understanding of IP network related services and 
technologies e.g. Proxy, DPI, DNS … 
- In-depth understanding of optical networks (WDM, SDH, 
PON, AON …) 
- Technology strategy 
- Migration of IP transport networks 
- Network operation of IP transport networks 
- Tender preparation and evaluation (RFI, RFQ …) 
- CAPEX/OPEX modeling
