Responsibility
· Overall responsibility for the design, deployment, availability, dependability and performance of Client’s mobile network infrastructure.
· Deploy, maintain and ensure that Client’s mobile network infrastructure and all operations systems meet Client’s SLAs.
· Build, maintain and operate Client’s Mobile Infrastructure.
· Work with equipment vendors and service providers to ensure carrier grade system availability of Client’s Network.
· Implement Client’s service availability plan and ensure that the Client service meets all SLAs to its customers.
· Work with cross-functional teams to build operational processes to monitor, alert, escalate, and resolve issues in a pro-active manner.
· Work with engineering, QA and Customer Operations for all Back Office and Network infrastructure maintenance.

o IP Networking

§ Core and edge routing
§ TCP/IP and Cisco routers
§ VPNs
o Co-location management
§ Space and power planning
§ Remote administration of co-location space
o Software Application Support
§ Java, Jboss, Load Balancers, Apache Servers, Shell Scripting
§ High Availability systems support
· Understands how to work with mobile operators.
· Has worked for a managed service provider.
· Has a passion for managing high availability systems.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment are essential.
· Strong communication skills.
· Extremely detail oriented and organized
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Knowledge and understanding of GSM and VoIP principles a plus.
· Must be able to work with all levels of the organization.
· Ability to work independently, under extremely tight deadlines.
· B.S. in CS or EECS or related engineering field with at least 7 years in data or telecomm industries.
