Summary:
At least 10 years of work experience including design and solutions development in Radio/wireless, utilities and public safety networks including TETRA, two-way radio systems and/or emergency services. Experience with public utility companies telecoms is a key factor.
Job nature: Hands-on technical consultancy position and not project management.
Travel: Travel required for meetings with client in different regions as per demand.
Essentials: Cost-benefit analysis of technologies and systems, spectrum analysis of requirements of frequencies, design of fleet mapping, design of mix of wireless networks utilising multiple technologies including TETRA, 2-way radio and others.
Desired: Design of Smart/automated metering, RTU data links and transmission connectivity from site to the backhaul using microwave and fiber technologies.
Academic Qualifications: BS in Electronics and Communication Engineering
Soft Skills: Team player, analytical, flexible in timings and weekends as per work demand, can do attitude, self-starter, consultancy experience, have prepared/can prepare reports.
Availability Requirement: 1 month or less. Ideal asap.
Contract duration: 6 months
