Telecom Vacancy: 2G RAN Design Engineer

Location: Europe 
Start Date: ASAP 
End Date: 3 months


Must be eligible to work in Europe


Responsibilities: 
• Create high level designs (HLD) and Low Level Designs (LLD) 
• Validation the Low Level Designs in a commercial network 
• Create a (high level) Project plan 
• Ensure timeliness & quality delivery of the HLD and LLD to the stakeholders 
• Ensure operational readiness of the managed services organization i.e. KPI definition and Operational handover


Requirements: 
• Self-motivated, team player, customer oriented with a strong commitment to excellence 
• Flexible and able to adapt to changes 
• Good communication skills, both written and oral, in English 
• Good technical skills 
• Understand company and the customer’s objectives 
• Years Technical experience with RAN Design engineering (Ericsson 2G / 2.5G essential) 
• In depth knowledge of 2G performance related counters and gauges 
• Experience with optimization and capacity improvements 
• In depth knowledge of capacity management related counters and gauges 
• Experienced with Business Objects XI, 2G OSS applications and of MML commands 
• Advanced understanding of Wireless Network Architecture, Technologies, concepts and standards ( e.g. ITU-T) 
• Profound knowledge of 2G handover and reselection parameters 
• Ability to write high level designs, test plans and project plans 
• Thorough understanding of strategies to evolve an existing network for the future demands
