Telecom Job for Senior 3G RND Engineer || Nigeria

Duration: 3 Months +

Penta Consulting are urgently looking for a Senior 3G RND Engineer for a 3 month + contract in Tanzania starting ASAP.


Job spec:
-Very good Radio planning knowledge.
-Extensive knowledge on Mapinfo; e.g.. creating clusters and drive routes,
-Real understanding of second carrier planning for expansion.
-Compilation of Low Level Design report and able to answer customer questions on related issues.
-A Bonus:Some Winfiol or moshell experience to extract network data relating to RF Planning, e.g. IRAT parameters and Channel Element Utilisation to cater for Expansion.
-Link budget analysis.
-Good understanding of 3G and HSDPA/EUL
-Good knowledge on Rooftop design and antenna separation analysis. This also means good understanding of antenna propagation theory.
-Proficient use of Microsoft excel.
-A Bonus: Re-homing experience (due to an expansion), thus creating and deleting external UTRAN cells for the various RNCs involved.
-Good tool experience with TCPU
-At least 8 years experience in design and planning activities 
-Experience with Ericsson equipment 
-Radio Network Planning:
-Nominal cell plan
-Site survey and candidate selection
-Special even design solution
-Scrambling code preparation 
-Statistics analysis and initial tuning recommendations
