As a leading international telecoms vendor our client requires an experienced commercial Head of Services with a solid and recent track record of overseas and Indian based operations management within a mobile telecoms (data / messaging) vendor environment. They are a very successful organisation who are growing quickly. 
Your experience will cinclude a strong knowledge of GSM telecoms and management of operational projects for telco operator customers, staff management (project managers, engineers etc.), financial management, KPI's and budgetary experience. Managing India regions including Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, etc.. 
Your profile and background for the role of Head of Services:- 
•Experienced in running operations for a mobile telecoms vendor 
•Multi-national experiences dealing with customers in some of:- AsiaPac, Europe, USA, etc.. 
•"Leadership" and "Strong People Manager" and proven ability to deliver through others. 
•Responsibility covers all functions - Projects, Support, Managed Services, Customer Solution Integration 
•Proven Financial experience, customer billing, revenue ownership 
•Strong communication skills and ability to forge excellent relationships with customer stakeholders and partners. 
•Comfortable dealing with, negotiating and managing customers and their expectations 
•Seasoned, tough negotiator and able to say no to customers, adept in contract management - has an ability to be hard and fair. 
•Looking for someone who has held senior positions overseas in a customer facing (vendor) role - in a tough demanding and hostile customer environment. 
•Ability to manage sales expectations and also be able sell the value of services in front of customers. 
•Must be thick skinned, and able to set and manage self 
•Solid operations and programme experience 
•KPI management 
•Revenue generation, achieving regional targets, solution sales 
•Financial management, budgets, cost containment etc. 
•VAS / messaging solutions ideally 
•Budgets to $XXXM 
•PMI PMP, Prince 2, APMP accredited 
•Dispute resolution 
•Managed various customer delivery projects whilst working for a vendor 
•Customer infrastructure deployment experience 
•Face to face with customer – able to work at a high level (CxO level)
