This individual will be creating DC Power Supplies for Base Station applications. We needs someone who will provide technical design leadership in areas of power supply design, with emphasis on switching power supplies. Applications include DC/DC converters, AC/DC converters, DC regulators, and protection / monitoring circuits.
This individual will be creating DC Power Supplies for Base Station applications. We needs someone who will provide technical design leadership in areas of power supply design, with emphasis on switching power supplies. Applications include DC/DC converters, AC/DC converters, DC regulators, and protection / monitoring circuits.
Must have the ability to define hardware requirements based on system performance and reliability specifications. Daily tasks will include circuit design, simulation, prototyping, and testing. Candidate must also be adept in technical writing and documentation tasks. Candidate will also be required to support related project design activities by participating in design reviews, technical information exchange sessions. Candidate may be required to work in close cooperation with subcontractors for related product development.
- BSEE or MS in Electrical Engineering or Physics
- 4-8+ years in power supply design
- Knowledgeable DC/DC converter design topologies
- Excellent theoretical and practical understanding of concepts used in power supply design such as control systems theory. Adept in development of power supply performance specifications and test methodology
- Experienced in simulation methods and common analog simulation tools
- Proven track record - previous involvement in successful product development programs is a definite plus
- 4-8+ years in power supply design
- Knowledgeable DC/DC converter design topologies
