Telecom job for Contract Manager || Middle East

Remuneration: $10,000 - $13,000 USD per month
Customer is an international, world class telecoms vendor to the worlds leading operators. Due to on-going success they require a Contract Manager, who has experienced the European telecoms market, to help continue to grow their existing success in the region.
Summary Requirements and Compensation 
• Educated to degree level or above 
• Fluent spoken and written English 
• Experienced in Contract Management 
• Remuneration: $10,000 - $13,000 USD per month (from this figure comes your base salary, accomodation allowance and personal transport allowance.) Medical and life insurances and flight on top. 
• Twice annual pay and role designation / job title and responsibilties reviews



Key Areas of responsibility 
• Main contract execution and change management: Fully understand the main contract and manage all matters of main contract. Push forward for the settlement of main contract changes and implement main contract change process. 
• Subcontract execution and change management: Fully understand the subcontractors contract and the process changes. Be responsible for the subcontract clauses clarification. 
• Need to handle claims and dispute settlement, familiar with claim procedure. Independently need to make / submit claim reports on time. Communicate with the customers or subcontractor to solve claims and disputes. 
• Project management 
• Scope control 
• Variation Orders preparation, submission and negotiation 
• Risk management 
• Very good commercial experience in either one of the below areas / departments:- Engineering, procurement, contract management, project management, ideally from either the telecommunications or construction industries. 
• Any experience in turnkey projects or projects contract experience in EPC-FIDIC is strongly preferred. 
• Strong knowledge in international engineering cost management or international engineering contract commercial management. 
• Able to develop and analyse engineering project commerical contracts 
• Able to foresee the possible risks in the project and able to propose a solution against the risk 
• A good team-player, organizer and co-ordinator, easy-going and be good at interpersonal communications.
