Location: Ft. Morgan, CO
Scope of Work:
• Commissioning, integration, troubleshooting and acceptance testing of Nokia Siemens Networks DX-200 based MSS.
• Hardware and software troubleshooting, Change delivery installation and Software upgrade from one major release to next and post monitoring. Health check of system after performing any activity.
• Log and alarm collection for troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• On-site support post implementation phase, participation in customer meeting and guidance for network improvement.
• Implementation of new features and on-site training for customers.
• Participation in lab testing for new CDs or SW releases.
• Preparing or enhancing documentation for implementing new features and HW/SW releases.
Required Competencies and Skills:
• Advanced troubleshooting skills in Nokia Siemens Networks DX-200 based MSS.
• Deep knowledge about Circuit Switch and Rel-4 networks and how different parts are integrated.
• Knowledge about latest software release and its features.
• Tools knowledge including SIMO, Nethawk, TCPDUMP, IDA. Log collection and computer log understanding.
• Has experience working in customer interface and how to manage their expectation.
• Has fundamental IP and Unix knowledge, knows basic IP configuration and troubleshooting.
• CCNA preferred
Education & Experience or Other Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computers, Telecommunication, Information Technology or other related field.
• Typically 2-5 years of experience in Nokia Siemens circuit core with advanced troubleshooting skills.
