CONSULTANT ROLE supporting clients business with Sonatel & Orange / France Telecom Group in Africa**
Working remotely with the company’s European sales team, you will help to develop and close business opportunities with Sonatel and the Orange / France Telecom Group in Africa.
- Experience of working with/for SONATEL will be considered a major plus.
- You must be Fluent in French and English.
- Technically you will be expert in Telco, IP/Ethernet solutions, & ideally will have a strong wireless or Microwave communications background.
As a multi-skilled technical pre-sales expert, experienced in the deployment of networks, you will be acting as first line technical contact for product and feature related issues; supporting the sales team to develop & close sales, & will working directly with the customer to develop their understanding of the products incorporation into network design, assisting them from trial through to rollout.
- You will provide pre-sales support via working on tender responses, quotes & proposals, presentations to the customer & providing network design.
- You will be required to present CAPEX and OPEX business cases
- You will act as Technical Lead and manage deployment specialists on key network delivery projects, & manage all technical activities for the customer, System Integrator / VAR and integration partner accounts.
- Post Sales services to customers will include network planning & design, radio planning, supporting network deployment & optimization, providing on-site training, project management of network rollout & integration.
- You will perform field and lab trials & work with testing group.
Travelling to customer sites and staying as the customer needs, this role will require oversees travel throughout Africa. The salary will include both travel allowance + a bonus ‘or’ commission. (Training trips in Europe may be required).
