Telecom job for Project Director (FBB) in SouthEast Asia

Currently we have an opening for Project Director (FBB) with our client in South East Asia. It is a permanent position. Please find below the job description:
Scope
l Full responsibility for overall progress, cost and quality of Fixed Broadband projects.
l Client’s senior point of contact with the customer for the duration of the contract.
l Liaison with customer during the pre sales phase. Understanding requirements and developing technical solutions.
l Responsible for defining and building the project organization based on the Scope of Works.
l Ensure that the project is appropriately resourced with the right levels of experience and expertise.
l Competence development and training.
l Responsible for developing processes and procedures for full project life cycle.
l Responsible for producing overall project plans.
l Identification, selection and management of Consultants, Contractors and Subcontractors engaged on the project.
l Liaison with external bodies (national and local government) with regard to way leaves, access and rights of way
l Target setting and performance management.
l Leadership and motivation of project team members.
l Evaluation of performance of project team members.
l Budget preparation and management.
l Reporting to Client Senior Management and the Customer.
l Ensuring that financial targets are met by producing Acceptance and Billing plans.



Profile
l A Senior Project Manager with at least 10 years relevant experience managing projects in an international environment.
l A proven track record of delivery of Fixed Broadband projects.
l An excellent understanding of Fixed Broadband technologies (NGN, FTTx etc.)
l Excellent team building, motivation and leadership skills.
l Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
l Excellent inter personal and communication skills, able to communicate with the Customer and the Project Team at all levels.
l A high level of cultural awareness and experience managing multi-cultural teams.
l An excellent understanding of end to end process delivery.
l Extensive experience in organization, staffing and recruitment.
l Target driven and results focussed. 
l Proven Subcontractor management experience.
l Commercial awareness.
