Senior Product Manager, Wireless Semiconductors, Cambridgeshire 

Key Responsibilities:
Work directly with the engineering, operations, finance and sales groups to execute a successful product strategy to meet business and market requirements. 
Managing all aspects of the product life cycle from product idea generation through end of life, including development of market requirements and product requirements documents. 
Ensuring the cross-functional development team meets the product, business and time-to-market requirements defined for each program. Accountable for decisions involving all aspects of the product line. 
Managing the product roadmap for the product line. This includes all aspects of coordination with project management, engineering and communication to sales, marketing and customers. 
Completing product presentations, data sheets, technical specifications, competitive positioning and related product documentation to support the sales and marketing efforts for the product lines. 
Optimise investments in Product Development 
Define clear business plans integrating company core competencies, time to market, product costs, channels and competition 
Ensure business inputs are complete and representative 
Coordinate development priorities to meet both long and short term revenue objectives 
Prioritise and balance investment in sustaining engineering, development and strategic investment 
Clearly articulate product roadmaps and plans to senior management and strategic accounts 
Communicate highly technical features and functionality to less technical business and financial decision makers 
Understand and interpret market requirements through Product Marketing, Strategic Partners and Customers 
Integrate competitive, business and resource considerations to develop product plans that lead in the market place 
Prioritise feature and product requests while considering development impacts 
Gain buy-in for product strategy and definition between engineering, product marketing, sales and management. 
Understand and interpret real-world deployment and troubleshooting requirements 
Driving engineering resources 
Delegate and monitor engineering and operational activities to teams throughout the organisation. 
Influence and motivate resources about product vision and goals market requirements. 

The ideal candidate will have the following profile:
Previous experience as a Product Manager with a proven track record of managing semiconductor products through the complete product lifecycle preferably with wireless industry experience 
Successfully delivered profitable products and software solutions to market that meet market requirements, exceed ROI objectives and are introduced on time. This achievement will have been realised through successful coordination of engineering, operations and product marketing activities. 
Strong experience managing multiple concurrent and complex projects with multiple stakeholders 
Background is across several business and customer related areas which may include engineering, sales, operations, customer service and senior management 
Direct experience managing resources within authority and outside authority. 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation, interpersonal and relationship management skills. Ability to work autonomously and can also lead cross-functional and cross-organisational projects 
Excellent leadership, organisation, communication and decision making skills, judgement and technical knowledge are essential 
Strong marketing experience, including product management of high-volume semiconductor products 
Extensive knowledge of wireless technologies 
Thorough understanding of Product Management processes and procedures 
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification and / or experience 
MBA or CIM qualification would be a plus 
Prior experience with cellular apps processors would be a plus
