Telecom Job Vacancy for PS Core Network Engineer - Netherlands

On behalf of our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for PS Core Network Engineer, to start immediately in a contract position, based in the Netherlands.  
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications: 
  • Hardware installation, commissioning, integration and testing 
  • Settling of incidents, Support the customer incident analysis, produce incident analysis report 
  • Problem handling, analysis incident database and system log, and produce analysis report 
  • Delivery of Installed base / port details, administration trigger tables PS, IMSI analysis PS, customer databases, partners PS, Numbering plan mutations (extern). Related documentation update.
  • Adaptation of customer’s Security rules to network control, monitoring of ‘attacks’ of the network, consultation with CERT, authorities, Firewall-rules etc.
  • Get clear the capacity management information and execution of standard changes in capacity (optimum use of capacity) 
  • Pro-active and preventive management (monitoring quality elements), monitoring load parameters on used network components, make available information en measurement details 
  • Execution of Changes of software, hardware and configuration 
  • To connect new Operators, testing of new Operators on Voice as well as on Data. Resolving of related incidents in cooperation with those Operators 
  • Make sure CDR processing van be executed 
  • Monitor the alarms from the PS equipment’s and clear the potential or occurred problems 
Responsibilities:
  • Supervising project engineering process, including hardware and software supervision, acceptance test.
  • Onsite support for installation and acceptance test when necessary.
  • Perform software commissioning of Core Network PS elements and integration with related network elements.
  • Interface with engineering partner to locate technical problems that may arise during the engineering process.
  • Interface with third party to locate technical problems that may arise during the integration.
  • On site support in case of major or critical problems that can’t be solved by customer or local subcontractor according to SLA.
  • Responsible for handling technical cases on ticket system and keep tracking these problems during the whole resolving process.
  • Interface with customer to report the problem handling progress and result.
  • Perform activities required in the project scope and objective to fulfil the responsibilities.
  • Managing the relationship with the customer, ensuring the correct understanding of customer requirements;
  • Managing operational issues, such as delays in the availability of information to be provided by the customer,
  • Fluent communication in English.
