Telecom Job Vacancy for CS Core Engineer || Taiwan

Looking for CS Core contractor for Taiwan and this is a new opening. Details as below:


Scope of Work: 
1. Care phase operations 
o Support customer in network evolution. 
o The following tasks are carried out either in NSN or in customer premises and relate to HW and/or SW components of CS Core elements (MSS, MGW, HLR, SRRi, hiS700). The level of task responsibility is determined by personal competence level. 
o A SW maintenance activity such as installation and test of technical/change notes/change deliveries. 
o Basic technical support tasks including fault diagnosing and troubleshooting for the application areas supported. 
o Provides assistance/support for complex technical activities such a SW upgrades and technical audits. 
o On-site support at customers’ premises. 
o Participation in fault management/help-desk activities. (Helpdesk, Resolution Database, Pronto, TAC, Genius , Kruise and etc.) 
o Participation in emergency support activities. 
o Participation in network operation service. (NOS) 


2. Delivery phase operations 
o Installation and/or commissioning and/or integration activities. 
o Network expansion activities. 
o Technical / customer acceptance testing and documentation 
Requirements: 
1. Proficient in 3G System technologies (ATM, H.248, SS7 signalling, etc). 
2. Excellent working knowledge of CS core elements (MSS, HLR N+X , MGW, NEMU, hiS700/SRRi) and services. 
3. Proficient in Windows/Unix/Sun Solaris, TCP/IP. 
4. Familiar with ESB/ESA/CISCO 7609/2811 configuration and troubleshooting. 
5. Knowledge of RNC is an added advantage. 
6. Good written and oral communications skills in English. Proficiency in Chinese language is beneficial but not mandatory. 
7. Good general management, leadership and supervisory skills. 
Education and Work Experience 
8. At least 8 ~ 12 years engineering-related working experience in GSM/3G projects. 
9. At least BSc degree in computer science , electrical engineering, electronics engineering, computer engineering, telecoms engineering or related fields. 


Contract Period: 
Expected 2011.Oct for 6-12 months. 
Work circumstance: 
Location: NSN TPE office / Customer side (North part of Taiwan) 
Night shift: Night shift will be compensated by next day time off. 
Travel: possible travel and NSN will provide one lot travel expense for transportation. 
PC/Phone/Phone call charges: To be provided by supplier.
