Job description:
As a member of our European Wireline Network Technical Sales Team you possess a deep understanding of the Datacom, Transmission, DSL and FTTx industry and its European customers. You guide market developing strategies, introduce technologies to team members and ensure Client's leadership in the wireline area.
Key Responsibilities:
In this challenging position, your responsibilities include:
• Support key projects in EU region
• Be familiar with cutting edge technologies and developments in the industry, conduct regional telecom market research and forecast trends within the industry;
• Collect and analyze latest market information in order to ensure solution competence
• Introduce new technologies to EU Technical Sales team members
• Plan and support market branding actions in wire line area, attend technology related industry events and presentations;
• Track potential competitors and develop alternative strategies.
• Be familiar with cutting edge technologies and developments in the industry, conduct regional telecom market research and forecast trends within the industry;

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of working experience in the telecom industry; previous working experience at Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel, Redback, Riverstone, Foundry, Extreme, Lucent a big plus
• Good understanding of IP networking technologies, e.g. routing protocols, MPLS, VPLS, IP VPN, etc.
• Good understanding of Metro Ethernet or IP backbone networking
• Good understanding of latest trends and developments in the industry
• Working experience with a telecom carrier a plus
• Contacts to or membership in standard industry organizations a plus
• Fluent English and German good overall communication skills
