Responsibilities
• To provide support on complex technical issues at high/low level
• To proactively support customers identify switching sites and assist in site acquisition
• To ensure timely flow of SE information and documents
• To follow guides and rules of Site engineering process
• Provide technical support to customers and ASP’s
• To provide hardware dimensioning for Switch, Radio and Power equipment based upon customer requirements
• To interact and advise customer in site identification
• To conduct site surveys
• To prepare site-specific floor layouts
• To prepare A-pack specific site requirements
• To produce site-specific documentation (C-Module)
• To prepare hardware allocation command files (C3)
• To participate in project meetings to ensure proper coordination of SE activities within overall project requirements
• To provide SE support and respond to site queries from customers and ASP’s
• To actively develop new ideas and improvements to SE methods, processes, procedures and tools used for SE production
Requirements:
• 1-3 years experience in SE related activities or relevant experience in an engineering or installation environment
• 1-3 years experience in Telecommunications
• Experience of liaising with customer organizations e.g. VFE, BT etc
• Computer literate, good knowledge of CAD, AUTOCAD an advantage
