Telecom Expert/ Team Leader (TE/TL)
•An academic degree in relevant field
•At least 10 years’ experience in telecommunications, including the technologies used to provide converged services.
•Previous, high-level experience advising policy makers/regulators in legal and regulatory issues
•Experience in drafting policy statements consisting of specific, actionable requirements
•Demonstrated expertise in wireless and other solutions to connectivity problems
•Familiarity with latest developments in deployment of broadband worldwide
•Familiarity with latest Internet protocol (IP) technologies
•Perspective experience and cross-cultural skills that will allow him/her to respond to Jordan’s needs as expressed in this ToR.
•Experience of leading other projects of the same kind is an asset.
•Experience in Middle East/developing countries a plus
