Job Vacancy for Network Engineer – Switzerland – Content Management– LS5110

My client are leading the way in Digital Media. They are currently seeking a Network engineer to be based in Switzerland.

Our client will need a Network Engineers to build and maintain it’s global network. This role will work closely with field technicians, ISPs, customers, equipment vendors, and internal operations and engineering staff. 

Responsibilities 
• Recruiting, training, and managing field technicians. 
• Project managing new network installations, working closely with Network Architects, Network Engineers, Contract Managers, and Operations staff. 
• Configuring and troubleshooting servers, switches, and routers. 
• Specifying hardware configurations to meet requirements of new and existing service offerings. 

Qualifications 
• BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related field. 
• Knowledge of Internet protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, and DNS. 
• Network switch and router experience, especially with debugging Layer 1 issues. 
• Unix/Linux command-line experience. 
• Proven project management and organizational ability. 
• Strong communication skills, including both verbal and written English
