Position: Sr. Telecom Project Manager – Overseeing: Site Acquisition, Engineering, & Construction
Location: Schaumburg, IL
Term: Permanent Position
Salary Range: $85-95K
Position Description:
·         This individual is responsible for the cost, quality and schedule for assigned projects for work performed by internal staff and resources, and external vendors for wireless infrastructure projects for new site build and modifications to existing facilities.
·         The project manager prepares the scope of work, pricing, resources and schedule for new and proposed projects in accordance with existing contract terms and conditions.
·         The project manager is responsible for managing site acquisition, engineering and construction projects in compliance with established processes and policies established by the company, the client, and regulatory agencies.
·         He/she will enforce the quality program and ensure that appropriate safety guidelines are followed in the performance of the work by staff and vendors. The position reports to the senior program manager for the geographic market. 
Responsibilities:
·         Schedule: plan and implement all project staff, vendors and resources in accordance with the established project schedule. Manage and report progress in compliance with defined milestones by maintaining current and accurate records on internal and client database and document control systems.
·         Cost and financial management: prepares cost proposals based upon established unit rates and/or solicits cost proposals from vendors based upon a written scope of work. Responsible for managing the financial cycle including bidding and proposals, purchase orders, and review and approval of vendor invoices. The project manager is accountable for managing the project budget, project financial tracking and reporting, and project close-out.
·         Contract Administration: the project manager is required to understand the technical and commercial terms and conditions of the client master services agreement. All work shall be performed in compliance with the contract requirements, scope of work and pricing.
·         Customer Relationship: builds and maintains good customer relationships associated with the projects under his/her direction. Is the face in the local market to the customer.
 Qualifications:
·         Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
·         5-10 years wireless experience
·         Project management scheduling software experience (i.e. Microsoft Project, P3e or comparable)
·         Proficient in MS-Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
·         Working knowledge of the wireless industry
·         Wireless new site build and modifications deployment and implementation experience
·         Some real estate, site acquisition and zoning experience preferred
·         Design and construction experience
·         Core network experience
