Job Description: 

·         Responsibility for the analysis, design, implementation, and testing of UE protocol software test case libraries. 

·         Assignments focus on LTE technologies and may also include cdma2000®, GSM and UMTS for the purposes of inter-RAT. 

·         You will work closely with development management personnel to efficiently develop high quality, maintainable, and well-document test cases. 

·         Must be able to apply knowledge of wireless and network protocols and test methodology to develop test cases that support industry and/or operator test requirements & specifications. 

·         At times, may be asked to suggest test cases to meet UE feature testing requirements per well written test specifications. 

·         Expected to fully understand and enforce established test case development, test, and software configuration processes. 

·        Actively participates in requirements, specification, test case, and test results reviews for his/her work or the work of others. 

Job Requirements: 

·         BSEE/BSCSE/BSCE/BSCS/Telecommunications or equivalent. 

·         Pertinent software engineering experience developing wireless and network protocols (LTE, HSPA Evolution, WCDMA, HSDPA, HSUPA, GSM, TCP/IP, SIP, VoIP, etc). 

·         Requires experience performing reviews of requirements, design, code/test cases, and test plans/results. 

·         Experience with Anritsu test systems (RTD and/or PTS), TTCN2, wireless communications test equipment, layered protocol development, network protocols, a plus. 

·        Requires solid working knowledge of source code configuration management principles.
