Location: Thames valley, but the role may involve travel and periods of on-site work at UK and International customers. 

Role Description

The Management consult grade Telecoms BSS Project Manager has responsibility for project managing the definition, design and delivery of telecoms BSS solutions. This role will include project initiation, project planning, financial/budget management, partner/subcontractor management, project reporting, risk and issue management, project closure. 
 In addition the Project Manger will support sales and business development activities by undertaking activities, which include defining project scope, resource and cost estimating and promoting the companies ability to deliver. The approach followed is to support the Telecoms Group, IMS and CACI in achieving overall business objectives.

Main Responsibilities
The Telecoms BSS Project Manager may work as an individual or as part of a team to undertake the following: -
Engagement lead for specific BSS projects.
Opportunity and threat analysis.
Project planning for potential project opportunities (pre sales)
Project planning for delivery (post-sales).
Project responsibility for the customer deliverables, milestones and commercial closure.
Engagement responsibility for resource utilisation and project margin.
Regular reporting to customers and the internal management team.
Establishing specialist project teams that require scarce skilled resources.
Managing varied project teams, which will include internal, customer, vendor and other 3rd party staff.
Business, operational and technical requirements gathering.
Management of relationships with partners and regular suppliers.
Customer Relationship management throughout the project lifecycle ensuring customer satisfaction objectives are achieved.
Creating and maintaining project documentation.
Project knowledge management.

Technical skills (Desirable)
·    Detailed knowledge of specific SAP modules.
·    Good knowledge of a number of Telecom Billing solutions
·    Experience of SAP and Billing solution application infrastructure.
Qualifications
Experience is most important in addition ideally the candidate should be educated to degree level in Telecoms, IT, Computer Science or other similar subjects.
