Client is a rapidly growing Saudi Arabian Telecoms company.
They deliver Telecom Engineering Services to large telecoms providers and network operators. They cover 2G, 3G, wireless and wire-line networks, NGN, VoIP, Data Networks and more. The specialise in the most recently developed and released technologies and standards
We are looking for an experienced very Senior person to head up the MANAGED SERVICES division o f the company and to drive this section of the business forward to reach its maximum potential as the CEO. Will be based in tax free Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
ROLE OVERVIEW
To take the lead role in the development of managed services within the organization. Define a plan and roadmap for establishing and maintaining the services portfolio associated with current and future managed services offered by telecoms operators. Specifically, the target market would be for Saudi Arabia and then as a second priority the other countries within the Middle East.
Ideal candidate should be familiar with IP core services such as
• MPLS,
• Internet Access
• IP Transit
• IPSec
• SSL
• Security
• Hosting
In addition, possess the ability to define and measure Service levels, Service Level Agreements with customers and suppliers/partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the entire division and push the company forward in this area
• Manage the team that gather customer and Company historical data to build predictive tools that calculate the potential return on investment for potential Managed Services customers
• Developing strategies for prospective clients that have been designated as managed services targets
• Manage the development and promotion of appropriate pricing strategies
• Employs a thorough understanding of customers, competitors, and market conditions to identify and leverage opportunities in concert with sales representatives
• Build and optimize forecasting models that will help predicting the traffic evolution and revenue forecast that will feed both senior management dashboard and reporting
• Manage the monitoring as accurately as possible the evolution of the company’s managed services portfolio and revenue
• Responsible for gaining more granular understanding on the business performance and traffic of new services, unit price trends. Such granularity is fundamental to support product management in identifying the most attractive business priorities and in articulating their business cases
CHARACTERISTICS OF ROLE
The role will be secured by someone who can lead and expand this fast growing business segment of Managed Services including IP- Based Network Services and a range of other Telecoms services for Service Level Agreements
A heavyweight Telecoms professional who has held the title of CEO, Director, GM, COO, Business Head etc in the past with a solid background in this specific area
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Extensive experience with VPN Services
• Experience and knowledge of IP, VOIP, Security and Mobile Technologies
• Experience working in Middle East preferred
• Minimum 10 years experience
• Knowledge of and prior experience with leasing CPEs
• Proven experience with large account, government services, and/or industrial customers preferred
• Strong project management experience with a focus on technical and software-related projects
• Must have proven ability to present effectively to executive level customers
