Vacancies for BTS Field Technicians - GCC Nationals

BTS Field Technicians for a 3-6 month Project, work is in the GCC countries (Saudi Arabia, Jordan & Bahrain)
Ideally candidates will be GCC nationals, as we need people who are free to move around from country to country.

Job Description 
BTS Field Technician
Field Technician must have background in telecom engineering and have worked in GCC countries and must be familiar with the Ericsson & Nokia 2/3G equipment also will be working at heights up to 50m, so heights must not be a problem.
Job Responsibilities:
• Able to follow detailed method of procedures (MOP) and practices to perform routine maintenance on all radio interface equipment.
• Able to use relevant wireless tools and test equipment.
• Able to use inventory tools and procedures.
• Able to perform duties related to generator deployment and setup.
• Able to trouble shoot AC and DC power systems including tower light controllers.
• Provide service delivery and assurance of all radio interface network elements. Analyze symptoms for accurate isolation of customer and network problems.
• Meet expectations with regards to behavioral and administrative facets of the position.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
• Knowledge of wireless RF communications and principles (CDMA, GSM, iDEN, etc)
• Ability to multi-task and maintain composure in stressful and demanding work environment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in GCC and other Middle East countries.
• Ability to exercise flexibility and resourcefulness in challenging and perplexing situations.
• Ability to accept project work in other locations outside of market
• Ability to work various shifts and be on call as required.
• Ability to identify all colors associated with telecommunications cable and equipment indicator lights.
• Basic computer skills.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive long distances on and off road.
• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50lbs independently and up to 90lbs with assistance, if necessary
• Ability to work in remote and challenging locations including, but not limited to: rooftops & towers and all types of geographic locations.
• The dexterity to connect and disconnect various sizes and types of electronic connectors.
Preferred:
• Knowledge of telephony networks, include DS1, DS3, OC, and various IP networks
• Knowledge of basic operating principles of wireless / RF environments
• Knowledge of generator operating principles
