Fantastic and rare opportunity for a RAN / Radio Access Network Technology Lead to join a team working for a market leading blue-chip telecoms organisation based in Berkshire. The RAN / Radio Access Network Technology Lead will have the responsibility for driving and coordinating the technology components of the customer services experience, and act as subject matter expert in the appropriate technology element in order to drive resolving and delivery areas.
Candidate must have a proven track record in mobile telecommunications and mobile network skills and technologies.
Technical Competencies:
- Thorough knowledge of 3G / UMTS mobile network end to end Architecture
- Thorough knowledge of IT environments, hardware and infrastructure
- Thorough knowledge of IT protocols
- Strong hands-on knowledge of RAN / Radio Access Network network management systems and techniques
- Good knowledge of service layer functions such as billing & customer management systems
